Welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I’m so glad you’re here. I wanted to share a bit about my journey and what inspired me to start teaching toddler yoga. My love for yoga began to deepen when I became a mom—it became a powerful tool for managing anxiety, regulating my nervous system, and staying present during those early, beautiful (and often overwhelming) years of parenting.

That passion continued to grow and led me to pursue my 200-hour yoga teacher certification through Yoga Alliance, along with a specialized certification in children’s yoga. I’m currently working toward my 300-hour certification as well. Before becoming a yoga teacher, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and spent years teaching children ages 3–6, which I absolutely loved.

Bringing together my background in education and my love for yoga, I now teach toddler yoga with the goal of helping other families experience the benefits of co-regulation, mindfulness, connection—and of course, fun! My classes are short, engaging, and designed with thoughtful movement and activities that both toddlers and parents can enjoy together.

It’s never too early to help them learn breathing techniques to help settle themselves. It’s also beneficial for their caretaker, because temper tantrums can be triggering for adults too. Practicing breathing techniques with them allows you to co-regulate your emotions together.

I’m not physically harming others, but there are numerous subtle ways we unintentionally practice violence. For instance, we wake up, see our reflection, and criticize our appearance. We also snap at our partners or yell at our children - all small yet violent actions. In yoga, we strive to reach our highest self by acknowledging these negative thoughts and actions towards ourselves and others. My personal struggle is self-directed violence, easily slipping into a spiral of negative thoughts. Awareness is the first step towards practicing Ahimsa.

Today, notice anything that you may do or say that that is harmful to yourself or others. See if you can change the actions or thoughts in a more positive way.
